Leave richer than you arrived.

And leave Paros richer than you found it.

That's why Siege of Paros exists.

We believe a good life doesn't have to come at the expense of the world around us.

  • Adventure.
  • Friendship.
  • Nature.
  • Movement.
  • Food.
  • Music.
  • Play.

Some things simply make life richer.

Perhaps the question isn't how to enjoy less.

It’s how to make what we do give more than it takes.

490 BC – 2027

A second Siege.A different purpose.

  1. 490 BC

In 490 BC, the Battle of Marathon made Miltiades.

  2. 489 BC

A year later, he sailed for Paros at the head of an Athenian force. They came to take.He asked Athens for seventy ships, and would not say where they were going. He demanded a hundred talents. Paros refused, and by night raised its walls to twice their height.Twenty-six days later, Miltiades sailed home wounded and empty-handed.The Siege failed.

In Athens he was put on trial and fined fifty talents. He died of his wound before he could pay. His son Cimon paid it.Paros had held.

  3. 2027

More than 2,500 years later, the Siege returns.

Not to conquer the island. To contribute to it.To come as guests. To give something back.

To leave with stories, friendships and tired legs – and leave something worthwhile behind.

Regenerate. Race. Rave.

That order matters.

  1. Mon 3 – Fri 7 May Regenerate Before we race, we contribute.
  2. Saturday 8 May Race Then we test ourselves – and each other – across the island.
  3. When the sun goes down Rave And when it’s done, we come together to celebrate.

Not as three separate events. As one experience built around a simple idea:

Enjoy deeply.Contribute meaningfully.

We come with a footprint.

We don't pretend otherwise.

Travel has an impact. Events have an impact. People have an impact.

The point isn't purity. It's what we leave behind.

  • Can we restore more than we disturb?
  • Strengthen rather than extract?
  • Bring people together without simply consuming the place that hosts us?

Leave richer than we arrived – and leave Paros richer than we found it?

We think it's worth finding out.One Siege at a time.
